MEET THE TEAM

Headshot-3-NoliFrench - French's Fotos.jpg

Noli French (she/her) is eager to be making her Fenix Theatre Company debut in such a fun, adaptable, and unique Shakespearean work. Recent stage credits include Zuzu in DANCE NATION (Mad Horse Theatre Co.), Mrs. White in CLUE: ON STAGE, Lilith Morningstar in SHE KILLS MONSTERS, as well as performing in RENT at Portland Players Theater. She recently completed her undergraduate studies as a theatre major at the University of Southern Maine, and is expanding her work as an artist into the Maine theatre and film scene. Beyond performance, much of her time is dedicated to her work as a portrait and wedding photographer.

This is Chantal King’s first production with Fenix. Chantal started in the arts at a very young age, when moving to Maine she participated extensively with The Portland Players.(Mama Mia/Featured Ensemble, The Wedding Singer/Ensemble, and Camelot/Morgan). Chantal also dove head first into Voice Acting as well during the pandemic, Which led her to a brief but successful stint in Los Angeles in which Chantal was represented by SBV for two years. Also numerous podcast throughout her time as well such as Night Shift and Dream Breachers to name a few. She is extremely excited for you all to see the craziness that is this show and hopes you have so much fun!

Lauren Stockless Headshot - Lauren Stockless.jpeg

Lauren Stockless (she/her) is thrilled to make her Fenix Theatre Company debut this summer in Complete Works. She graduated from Colby College with a BA in Theatre & Dance/English Literature, and then earned a MSc in Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Edinburgh. Lauren is heavily involved in local theater as a director, dramaturg, and actor. Some past favorite shows include: Lungs (Asst. Director, DRC), Pass Over (Production Stage Manager, Portland Theater Festival), Twelfth Night (Director, Edinburgh University Shakespeare Company), and You Got Older (Jenny, Mad Horse).

Returning to Shakespeare after nearly 4 peaceful years, Sararose Willey feels extreme relief to be working with Fenix Theater Co. this summer. Sararose graduated from Maine Arts Academy with a focus in acting & directing, and attended Shakespeare & Company’s conservatory post Highschool. Since, she has acted with the Maine Playwrights Festival, danced as a member of Resurgence Dance Company, and spent countless hours in her ‘vocal booth’ (glorified closet) ‘voice acting’ (making a strange noises into a microphone).  She would like to thank her dad for gifting her the ravenous Shakespeare bug, and hopes that this production pleases the little bard bug that may also live in you.

HolliePic-edited - Hollie Pryor.jpeg

Hollie Pryor - Director (she/her) has been previously seen on the Fenix stage screaming and crying as Trinculo in 2022, screaming and crying as Luciana in 2021, and screaming and crying as The Wall in 2019. She is SO grateful to be screaming and crying from LAUGHTER with this amazing cast as their Director! When not working with the bard, she is the Program Director at STAGES Youth Theater in Portland, where she teaches, acts, writes, and directs plays and musicals for ages 0-17. Go to stagesyouththeater.org for more information and to sign up for our classes and camps! Much love to Alex and their cat Oracle.
