Peter Brown (he/him), Artistic Director 
Peter is an actor/director in the greater Portland area, having worked with many great companies, including Fenix, Madhorse and Dramatic Repertory Company to name a few. He holds a BA in Drama from Dartmouth College and is an affiliate artist at Portland Stage and former Associate Artistic Director of Mad Horse Theater Company.

Benjamin Row (he/him), Fundraising and Media Relations
Ben is an actor/producer in New England, working across stage, film and voice projects. Maine-based theatre work includes productions at Fenix, Good Theater, Portland Stage, Biddeford City Theater and more. He's also done recreation and voice work for History Channel, PBS and A&E. He serves as Fenix's fundraising chair, ensuring we have the funds to pay our performers and crew a living wage.

Shane Van Vliet (she/her), Marketing and Production Coordination 
Shane was one of the Stage Managers at Portland Stage in Portland, Maine for 13 years! Before arriving at Portland Stage, she worked on numerous productions in New York City with Phoenix Theatre Ensemble, Turtleshell Productions, T. Shcreiber Studios and The New York Fringe Festival as well as The Washington D.C. Fringe Festival. Some of her other credits include working with; The Berkshire Theater Group, The Theater at Monmouth, Ashlawn Opera Company, EVNT LLC, Port Opera, national and international tours with Jean Ann Ryan Productions, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Two Beans Productions, Theaterworks and The Radio City Rockettes.

 

Kat Moraros (she/they), Social Media Manager 
Kat is an actor/photographer who has recently returned to Maine after 5 years doing professional theatre in Chicago. Maine acting credits include work with Portland Stage, Good Theater, Mad Horse, Theater at Monmouth, Dramatic Repertory Company, and more. Photography work includes production photography, headshots, and micro-weddings. As Fenix's social media manager, Kat gives audiences behind-the-scenes looks at productions, runs social advertising campaigns, and keeps everyone in the loop!

Zack Handlen (he/him)

Zack is an actor/writer who's lived and worked in Maine his whole life. As an actor, he's appeared on stage with Mad Horse, Maddy's Theater at the Children's Museum and Theater of Maine, Portland Players, Lyric Music Theater, Fenix Theatre Company, and more. As a writer, his reviews and essays have been published in the AV Club, Variety, GQ Magazine, and others; he is also the co-author of Monsters of the Week: The Complete Critical Companion to the X-Files. Zack brings boundless enthusiasm and curious intensity to the Fenix board.

 

Tiki Fuhro (she/her)

Tiki has been an ardent fan of Fenix Theatre Company since its inception and is excited to support this tradition as a board member. She believes it is essential to have free Shakespeare in the park, what an incredible way to bring people together for a shared and magical experience. She has taught theater and directed plays with young people for the past thirty three years. First at The Center Family Life in Brooklyn and currently at Waynflete School in Portland. She attended Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and has trained at Circle in the Square, Shakespeare and Company and the 78th St.Theater Lab. She is married to actor and playwright, Kevin O'Leary and is the proud parent of two adult children who attended lots of Fenix events during their formative years. She can't wait to bring her grandson to his first performance.
